About Kenny Cooper
As a top youth player in Dallas, Kenny showed a remarkable ability to score goals for Solar Soccer Club and Jesuit College Preparatory School. Following the Dallas Cup his Senior year, Kenny was invited by world famous club Manchester United to train, where he was offered his first professional contract. Following two and a half years abroad that included playing in Portugal, Kenny signed with FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. During his time with FC Dallas, Kenny was named to the US Men's National Team where he made several appearances for his country. In 2008 Kenny was named to Major League Soccer’s Best XI and was selected to the Major League Soccer All Star team. In 2009 Kenny signed with 1860 Munich in Germany, where he played before returning to Major League Soccer in 2011. Over the course of the next five years, Kenny played with the Portland Timbers, New York Red Bulls, FC Dallas, Seattle Sounders, and Montreal Impact. Over the span of his career, Kenny scored 75 MLS goals and logged 4 goals for the US Men's National Team.
